Dear friends of the Museum for Islamic Art,

We cordially invite you to the live stream of the inauguration of the restored Khan Al-Wazir on 15 November 2024 from 16:00 to 17:00 in the Brugsch-Pascha-Saal, Geschwister-Scholl-Straße 6, 10117 Berlin.

Your donations have made it possible to restore the city caravanserai, which was damaged by the severe earthquake. The dome and the magnificent façade were close to collapse and complete destruction.

We would like to thank you once again for your generous donations and celebrate this special moment of the inauguration with you and the people of Aleppo. That evening - 6pm local time in Aleppo - the opera singer Soumaya Hallak will sing at Khan Al-Wazir and we will be there live.
