Dear friends of the Museum for Islamic Art,

we would like to invite you to the first Tandem Sofa on 17.03.2021 from 6pm. Dr. Shirin Melikova, Director of the Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum and Anna Beselin, Curator and Restorer of Carpets and Flatweaves at the Museum for Islamic Art will be sitting on our virtual Tandem Sofa.
The focus of the first Sofa Talk will naturally be on carpets from Azerbaijan, in particular the so-called "Blüten-Teppich", which has a connecting history between Berlin and Baku. Learn more about it from the two guests on our Tandem Sofa.
