Dear friends of the Museum for Islamic Art,

The Sanguszko-group of 16th century Persian carpets will be discussed by Michael Franses, Research Associate at the Museum for Islamic Art, alongside Anna Beselin, curator and conservator of carpets at the Museum for Islamic Art Berlin, in a special online presentation on 9 September at 10 am. The talk will present the new research that will be featured in the upcoming Italian exhibition ("The Magnificent Sanguszko Carpets", Palazzo Rosso, Genoa, 11 November 2022 to 12 February 2023) and outlined in detail later in a book on the subject .

The Friends of the Museum for Islamic Art can register for an exclusive link to the presentation which will stay online for two months only. Friends can also join an international question and answer session after the English language edition of the presentation at 8 pm on 9th September.
